Gordon Taylor's Astrolink

Gordon Taylor, Director of the Computing Section of the British Astronomical Association and an EAS Committee member, has provided us with some software that will perform solar and lunar calculations for anyone aligning a telescope, or forward planning in Eastbourne.

For Eastbourne, for any date in the 20th and 21st Centuries, the program gives for the date requested and also for the day before and the day after:-

1)    Sun - times of rise, transit, set
2)    Twilight - times when Sun is 6 and 12 degrees below horizon
3)    Moon - times of rise and set. Moon's phase and other astronomical data
